Film actress Parvin Sultana Diti has returned to Dhaka in January after passing some days with her son Dipto and daughter Lamia.After returning home for the first time Diti has started to work for a TV play titled “Kanamachhi”, which was scripted by Jakaria Shoukhin and directed by Ziauddin Alam. It’s mentionable that for the first time Diti has worked together with these promising TV performers – Rawnak Hasan and Aparna.
Earlier both Rawnak and Aparna worked together but for the first time they have performed with Diti. Story of play “Kanamachhi” is based on typical family story. Diti has performed in role of Aparna’s mother.
At one stage of the play, Aparna makes a relationship with Rawnak and thus the story gets momentum. Shooting of this play began at a residence in the city’s Gulshan area from Thursday.
While talking about the play Diti told this correspondent, “Though I had experience to work with this generation’s actors, but it’s my first experience to perform with Rawnak and Aparna. Both of them are cooperative. I have performed in this play after a long time. Story of the play is nice. I hope viewers will enjoy the play.”
“I’ve seen many movies of Diti apu. I had a dream to work with her either in TV play or movie. After many days my dream came true,” said Rawnak while sharing his feelings to work with Diti.
Aparna also shared her feelings in same way. The play is being made under the banner of Glamour World Media Productions. It will be aired in any satellite channel. Newcomer Russell Ahmed has also performed in a special role in this play.
It may be mentioned that Diti has unfinished works of movie “Purnodoirgo Prem Kahini” till now.
