SYLHET: Gono Forum President Dr Kamal Hossainalso eminent lawyer of the country, said the ruling Awami League is lying assuming power through election.“The high ups of the ruling party are relentlessly lying,” he said.
The senior politicians came up with the observation while addressing a programme in the city on Monday.
He also said no deception would be possible to continue speaking over the war of liberation and martyred.
Addressing the programme, former president and Bikalpa Dhara Bangladesh President AQM Badruddoza Chowdhury said there is no alternative to restore the caretaker government to hold free and fair polls in the country.
Mentioning the killing of Biswajit Das and disappearance of BNP leader M Ilias Ali, he alleged that the government could not ensure security for the people.
With Sylhet General Secretary of the party Nilendu Dev in the chair, the programme was also addressed, among others, by Gono Forum General Secretary Mostofa Mohsin Montu and Presidium Member of Bikalpa Dhara Dr Kazi Kamal Ahmed.
