DHAKA – The archery event of Bangabandhu 9th Bangladesh Games began today at the archery training center of Shaheed Ahsan Ullah Master Stadium in Tongi.
Bangladesh Archery Federation (BAF) president lieutenant general Mohammad Moinul Islam (retd.) and BAF general secretary Kazi Rajib Uddin Ahmed Chapal jointly inaugurated the meet as the chief guest.
A total of 175 men’s and women’s archers from 41 teams including different district sports associations,services associations, Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Prothistan and clubs from across the country are taking part in the recurve and compound division.
The qualification round matches of the competition begins tomorrow from 9 am.BSS
