Opposition BNP-led 18-party alliance on late Sunday evening announced a 20-day-long programme for January that includes observance democracy killing day on January 25.BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia made the announcement after a meeting held at BNP’s central office at Nayapaltan at around 11pm.
Earlier, Khaleda Zia had a meeting with leaders of the 18-party alliance men at about around 9pm.
The 20-day programme includes countrywide protest against commodity price hike and sufferings of the people January 6, countrywide black day on January 11, mass-contact campaigns in all metropolitan cities and districts on January 15, mass campaign on January 23 and democracy killing day on January 25.
