BSF beats up 2 in C’nawabganj

India’s Border Security Force (BSF) has allegedly beaten up two Bangladeshi youths near Shivganj border in Chapainawabganj.

Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) 9 Battalion Deputy Commander Major Mizanur Rahmam told reporters a patrol team of 20 BSF Battalion reportedly beat up Mohammad Rafiq, 24, and Koshim Uddin, 20, in the early hours of Monday.

He added the BSF personnel later released them near Pillar Mo. 4 along Masudpur border.

The duo is being treated for injuries in clinics.

Rahman said BGB would raise a protest over the incident.
