A group of miscreants robbed Tk 83.4 lakh from an ATM booth of Dutch-Bangla Bank Ltd in city’s Kolabagan area early Monday.
Officer-in-Charge of Kalabagan Thana Enamul Haque said, “A security team of Ornate Securities went to refill the ATM booth with Tk 5 crore and a group of miscreants tried to rob them.”
Later, security personnel opened blank fire and the robbers fled the scene taking away a vault (box of money) of Tk 83.4 lakh.
