The benchmark index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange opened the week’s trade 30.23 points lower with a relatively lower Tk 1.97 billion turnover.
The DSE General Index slid 0.72 percent to close at 4144.54 points on Sunday amid fluctuations.
Of the traded issues, prices of 44 gained, 198 plummeted and 21 remained unchanged.
Last week, the premier bourse witnessed a rise in its key index by almost 86 points with an average turnover of around Tk 2.23 billion – 16 percent higher than the week before.
