Foreign Minister Dr Dipu Moni alleged that Jamaat-Shibir conducted “barbaric violence” in the country as opposition BNP incited them in the last four years.“It is not possible to assume power through back-door by setting fire,” she said criticising overall activities of the opposition party.
The foreign minister came up with the allegation while addressing a reception programme held at hotel in the city on Saturday.
She also declared that the conspirators against the country would be prevented strictly.
With Jeddah Expatriates Sramik League President Moazzem Hossain in the chair, the programme was also addressed, among others, by Jeddah Friends of Bangladesh General Secretary Delwar Hossain and Jeddah Awami League President Alhaj Salimullah.
