Rajshahi, March 22 – Welcoming Bangladesh as it has attained the qualifications of a Developing Country in the World, the District Administration of Rajshahi took out a rally in the city on Thursday.Divisional Commissioner Nur Ur Rahman, Deputy Commissioner S M Abdul Kadir and many officials took part in the program that held at 11.00am.
The rally parading main streets of the city ended with a meeting at the Rajshahi College.
Hundreds of workers of different socio-cultural organisations and political leaders participated in the programme.
Besides, on same occasion the Administration of Rajshahi University (RU) took out a procession on the campus at 10.00am presiding over by its Vice-chancellor Professor M Abdus Sobhan that paraded main streets of the campus ended at senate building of the university with a gathering. – RU Correspondent
