Dhallywood sensation Nipun is making her debut in a Kolkata film. She will be paired with Tollywood heartthrob Prasenjit in Rupali Chatterjee’s debut film Parichoy.Rupali’s father Basu Chatterjee introduced Ferdaus in Tollywood, who subsequently became popular in Kolkata.
In Parichoy, Nipun is playing the character of a typical Kolkata girl named Shilpi who married with Anupam, played by Prasenjit. .
‘This film shows how someone understands the values of the society and relations. It’s a sweet social drama’, Nipun returning home on Monday told New Age.
Sharing her experience of acting in the film Nipun said, ‘Working with Prasenjit is one of the biggest achievements of my acting carrier. Initially, I was a bit nervous acting with the popular Indian actor in the shooting floor. But, he made it
easy introducing himself to me. Soon, I felt it comfortable working with him and started enjoying the work.’
There are two prominent male characters one played by Prasenjit and another is performed by Ferdaus. ‘Actually, Ferdous introduced me with the director Rupali Chatarjee and producer Somu Gawal,’ Nipun said.
‘The director and the artistes are looking forward for the success of the film and Indian media is giving good coverage, though it is Basu Chatterjee’s daughter Rupali Chatarji’s debut project as a dirctor, Nipun added.
Nipun will leave Dhaka soon for further shooting in Kolkata. Meanwhile, she will be busy in shooting with Emon and Nirob in the film Padma Parer Parbati, directed by Rafiq Shikdar.
Before going to Kolakata, she will also appear in shooting with Emon in another film titled Tobu O Tumi Amar, directed by Raju Ahmed.
On her upcoming project Nipun said that she would pair with Dhallywood heart throb Shakib Khan in Rakibul Alam Rakib’s film Jan Tumi Pran Tumi.
