Shibir activists brought out two sudden processions in city’s Ittefak intersection and Mohakhali rail gate areas Thursday morning.
In first procession, activists of Chhatra Shibir locked into clash and with police around 10:15 am and exploded numbers of cocktails, banglanews correspondent reports.
During the time, chase and counter chase occurred between them.
Later, police fired several rounds of tear shells and rubber bullets to disperse the shibir men. Shibir men exploded cocktails and pelted brickbats towards cops during the time.
Motijheel police station OC Ayatuzzaman Khan confirmed it to banglanews.
On the other hand, shibir men brought out another sudden procession in city’s Mohakhali rail gate area. They pelted brickbats on law enforcers as they obstructed to bring out procession, a spot account said.
Later, Shibir men fled away after being chased by police. But, police held two Shibir men from the spot.
