Three people accused of the murder of Biswajit Das, in Old Dhaka, gave ‘confessional statements’ before a Dhaka court on Sunday.
Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Mohammad Erfan Ullah recorded the statements of Rafiqul Islam Shakil, GM Rasheduzzaman Shaon and Mahfuzur Rahman Nahid as they were produced before his court at the end of their remands.
The three of the six arrested over the murder, ‘confessed’ to the killing of Biswajit on Dec 9 under the Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
Meanwhile, another Dhaka court allowed police another three days to grill HM Kibria and Qaiyum Mia in custody over the case.
