Chittagong: Five buses were gutted as a fire broke out at a depot of Bangladesh Road Transport Corporation (BRTC) at Baluchhara in Hathazari upazila in the district early Wednesday.
Enamul Hoque, senior station officer of Bayezid Fire Service and Civil Defense Station, said the fire erupted around 6 am in the depot. UNB News Agency Reported.
On information, three fire service units rushed to the spot and doused the blaze around 7am.
Five double-decker buses, kept in the depot, were completely burned by the fire, Enamul added.
However, the origin of the fire could not be known immediately.
