Dhaka – The Dhaka Metropolis First Division Cricket League will kick off on Sunday (Jan 8) in the capital and adjoining areas.A total of 20 teams, split into two groups, will take part in the league at five different venues in Dhaka, Fatullah and Savar (BKSP).Five Group A matches will be held on the opening day (Sunday),UNB news agency reported.Rupganj Tigers CC will play Kakrail Boys Club at Mirpur, Baridhara Dazzlers will face Udaychal Club at BKSP ground-4, Talent Hunt CA will meet BKSP at Fatullah, Agrani Bank CC will encounter Bangladesh Boys at Fatullah Outer Stadium while Old DOHS SC will play Sheikh Jamal Cricketers at BKSP-3 on the opening day..Five Group B matches will be held on the following day (Monday)..Shinepukur CC will play Kalindi KC at fatullah, Uttara SC will meet Dhanmondi Pragoti Sangha at fatullah Outer, Surjo Tarun Club will encounter Azad Sc at BKSP ground-3, Rapid Foundation will meet Orient SC at Mirpur while Young Pegasus Club will play City Club at BKSP ground-4 on Monday.
