Dhaka – Bangladesh Women’s cricket team will face South Africa Women’s side in the 1st match of their five-match ODI series at Sheikh Kamal International Cricket Stadium in Cox’s Bazar on Thursday.The match will start at 9:30 am (Bangladesh time).This is the first time Bangladesh Women’s team is going to play a five-match ODI series against any nation.
Bangladesh won one game by two-wickets over South Africa in their 1st meeting in September 2012 in Mirpur, but lost in the remaining five tussles of their previous occasions.The visitors arrived here on Monday afternoon and reachedCox’s Bazar on Tuesday morning.The remaining matches of the series will be held at the same venue on January 14, 16, 18 and 20.Meanwhile, Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) on Wednesday announced ‘Walton Group’ as the title sponsor of the series.
