Dhaka – Two Bangladesh’s Fide Masters -Fahad Rahman and Mohammed Abdul Malek- earned five points each after the 7th round of the 9th Chennai Open International Chess Tournament held in Chennai, India on Monday.In the 7th round games, Access Chess Club player Fahad and Titas Club player Malek defeated their Indian opponents O T Anulkumar and Toshali respectively.After the 7th round the other Bangladesh’s contenders, Mohammad Aminul Islam, WFM Nazrana Khan Eva secured 3.5 points each.CM Sohel Chowdhury and WFM Zakia Sultana earned 3 points apiece.
