Dhaka – Bangladesh Women’s cricket team will take on Ireland in the lone one-day warm-up match in the ICC Women’s World Cup Qualifier 2017 at Nondescripts Cricket Club Ground, Sri Lanka on Sunday.The match will begin at 10:30 am Bangladesh timeBangladesh was pitted in Group-B in the qualification battle while other teams of the group are South Africa, Pakistan, Scotland and Papua New Guinea.On the other hand, Ireland will fight from Group-A consisting India, Sri Lanka, Ireland, Zimbabwe and Thailand.The qualifier tournament will start from February 7 and end on February 21.In the group stage matches, Bangladesh will play against Papua New Guinea on February 7, Pakistan on February 8, Scotland on February 10 and South Africa on February 11.On completion of their group round, top three teams from each group (A&B) will move to super-six stage and will vie for top four seats to join with defending champion Australia, England, New Zealand and the West Indies, who have already qualified automatically after finishing in the top four of the ICC Women’s Championship.The ICC Women’s World Cup 2017 will get underway on June 26 and culminate with the final at Lord’s on July 23.
