Dhaka – South Korea club Pocheon Citizen FC made their winning start in the 2nd edition of the Sheikh Kamal International Club Cup football with 2-0 victory against FC Alga Bishkek of Kyrgyzstan in the eight-team tournament opener at MA Aziz Stadium on Saturday.Forward Jang Yongik put his side ahead in the 14th minute with a long-range effort. Man of the match and midfielder Jikyeongdei Jk doubled the winning margin in the 19th minute by a beautiful chip off a well placed pass.In the second half, Pocheon broke through the Kyrgyzstan Premier League champion Alga Bishkek’s defence a couple of times, but failed to convert any of the chances.The five-time Kyrgyz champions were appeared in complete confused against the organised and concerted Pocheon’s attacks.UNB agency
