Deaf Asia Cup Cricket kicks off Tuesday

Dhaka – The T20 Deaf Asia Cup Cricket Championship under the auspices of Bangladesh Deaf Sports Federation (BDSF) will begin at Mirpur City Club ground here on Tuesday.Deputy Minister for Youth and Sports Arif Khan Joy will inaugurate the eight-day competition in the morning. Member of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Youth and Sports Ministry Nahim Razzaq will also be present on the occasion.UNb agencySome 100 deaf cricketers from five countries –India, Pakistan, Nepal, Sri Lanka and hosts Bangladesh — will compete in the 2nd version of the championship.Bangladesh will play Sri Lanka on the opening day (March 21) and meet Pakistan on March 22, India on March 23 and Nepal on March 28.
