Dhaka – A fire broke out at Shahjibazar Power Generator Company Limited in sadar upazila in Habiganj, Northwest of Bangladesh capital Dhaka, on Saturday. Jamal Uddin, in charge of Shaistaganj fire service, said the fire broke out as a transformer of the power plant exploded around 5:30 pm.On information, five fire-fighting units of the fire service rushed in and brought the blaze under control around 6:20 pm, he said.However, there was no casualty in the fire.The extent of losses from the fire is yet to be ascertained. – UNB news agency
