Chittagong – The first ever CJKS Archery League, organised by Chattagram Jila Krira Sangstha (CJKS), will begin on Sunday at MA Aziz Stadium in the port city.Chittagong City Mayor AJM Nasiruddin will inaugurate the two-day long competition in the morning, said Shahbaz Muntasir Chowdhury, secretary of CJKS Archery Committee, at a press briefing on Friday.Twelve affiliated clubs of CJKS—Boxirhat Youngmen’s Club, OPA, Chittagong Royal, Young Star Club, MH Sporting Club, FMS Sports, Chittagong Abahani Junior, Muktijoddha Sangsad KC, Chittagong Port Authority, Kallol Sangha, Mukta Bihanga and Fringibazar Lucky Star Club—will compete in the league.Later, talented players of the league will be short-listed for giving short and long term training.The total budget for the tournament was estimated Tk 1.10 lakh. CJKS will provide Tk 50,000 and rest of the amount will be arranged by Archery Committee. UNB news agency
