Dhaka – Bangladesh Under-23 Football team will play Tajikistan in their 2nd Group E match of the AFC U23 Championship Qualifiers on Friday at Dura Stadium, in Hebron, Palestine.In the FIFA World Cup Qualifiers, Bangladesh National team conceded 0-5 goals defeat against Tajikistan in Dushanbe after playing 1-1 draw against them in the home match in Dhaka.In their remaining Group E match of the qualifiers, Bangladesh will play hosts Palestine on July 23.In the ongoing AFC U-23 Championship, Bangladeshi boys made a frustrating start after suffering humiliating 0-7 goals defeat against stronger and upper ranked Jordan U-23 side in the opening Group E match at Dura Stadium, Hebron, Palestine last Wednesday.Jordan led the first half of the game by 2-0 goals scoring in the 17th and 37th minutes. They scored the other five goals in the 50th, 56th, 58th, 63rd and 67th minutes.Earlier, Bangladesh national team suffered a 0-8 goals defeat against Jordan in their away match in Amman and conceded 0-4 goals defeat against the same in home match in Dhaka in the FIFA World Cup Qualifiers.Bangladesh team failed to overcome their debacle in the international football after conceding a shameful defeat by their seniors against lowly Bhutan.On the way to Palestine, the Bangladesh team played two preparatory matches and lost both of them. Bangladesh lost to Nepal 0-1 in the first match and conceded 0-3 goals defeat against Qatar in the other match.UNB news agency
