Famed filmmaker Tauquir Ahmed will today be seen acting as a real-life person. This historic person named Jahid was a valiant in the Liberation War of 1971 who underwent torture in Pakistani military camp for refusing to collaborate with them and ultimately suffered death.

The tale of Jahid has been adopted from freedom fighter Bar Jahan. In 1971 Jahid was an intern student of Rajshahi Medical College. When the wasr started many of his classmates went over to West Bengal to take military training. However Jahid remained behind. He lived as the lone inmate of the college hostel and very few of the staffs remained in the campus. One day a military jeep came to the campus to get a doctor for a Pakistani military camp. They force Jahid to get on their jeep and take him to the camp. There they inform that the doctor that they had has left them and in his place Jahid has to attend to injured Pakistani soldiers.
Suspecting what he would have to against the interest of his motherland Jahid fired by a sudden courage declines to cooperate in a low but determined tone. Thus starts a series of torture upon him resulting in his ultimate death.
