Superman comes for Bangladeshi audience

“Superman: The Animated Series” will now take a Bangladeshi look. It certainly might not look like anything Bangladeshi, but it would certainly sound like one. Yes, the popular cartoon series for children and adults alike has now been dubbed by Nagorik TV. The first episode was aired yesterday. It will be aired everyday at 6pm from now. Repeats will be televised at 12pm and 1.30pm.
Running from September, 1996 to February, 2000 in USA, the popular series builds on the character publicized by DC or Detective Comics. Jerry Siegel and artist Joe Shuster first introduced the character in 1938. But Warner Bros presented the character with much more matured, modernized content. With its complex thematic treatment and intriguing characterization the cartoon soon become a favourite among all members of a family.
