Islami Bank Bangladesh Ltd (IBBL) donated two thousand blankets to Bangladesh Red Crescent Society (BRCS) on Wednesday for distributing those among cold-hit people.AKM Abdul Malek Chowdhury, deputy managing director of Islami Bank, handed over the blankets to BRCS chairman Prof Dr MS Akbar MP on the society premises.
On the occasion, IBBL senior vice president AHM Latif Uddin Chowdhury and its members of managing council and BRCS top executives were also present.
Islami Bank has taken an initiative to distribute 2,10,000 blankets among the cold-affected people across the country.UNB
