Dhaka, April 23 – The Bogura zone of Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited (IBBL) recently held a discussion on ‘Compliance of Sharia in the Banking Operations’ at a local convention center.
The programme discussed the duties and responsibilities of bankers and clients for compliance of Sharia.
Dr. Md Zillur Rahman, Chairman of Audit Committee of the Bank addressed the program as chief guest while Moulana Mohiuddin Rabbani, Member of the Sharia Supervisory Committee addressed as chief discussant.
Presided over by Md Motiar Rahman, Executive Vice President and Head of Bogura zone, the program was addressed by Md Shamsul Huda, Executive Vice President of the bank and Tahera Rahman, businessperson and social organiser as special guests.
