Manna’s production house to release new film

The last film produced by Manna’s Kritanjali Kothachitra was FI Manik’s “Pita Matar Amanot” back in 2008.
Iconic Dhallywood star Manna’s production house Kritanjali Kothachitra is set to release a new film after ten years. Manna’s wife Shelly announced the news at a press event in Dhaka on Friday.She said: “Kritanjali hasn’t been producing any films for almost 10 years but now we will start again.”
She also announced the upcoming film from the banner is titled “Jam,” written by veteran film journalist Ahmed Zaman Chowdhury and will be directed by popular TV drama director Noim Imtiaz Neyamul.
While talking about the new film Shelly said: “I don’t want to say the names of the lead roles just yet but there will be many surprises in the casting. Everything will soon be officially announced at the launching event of the film.”

SM Aslam Talukder, better known by his stage name Manna, was a famous Bangladeshi film actor and producer who starred in more than two hundred films in his career. He earned the prestigious Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Actor for his role in the film “Bir Shoinik” back in 2003. The actor met an untimely death from a heart attack in 2008.
