Siddikur shares 10th spot after 3rd round of Porsche European Open

Dhaka – The celebrity Bangladesh’s golfer Siddikur Rahman shared the 10th spot in the €2 million Porsche European Open after the 3rd round at Green Eagle Golf Courses, Hamburg in Germany on Saturday.The two times Asian Tour winner, Siddikur aggregated seven-under-par 209 to stay five shots away from the Englishman Jordan Smith who grabbed the lead on day three aggregating 12-under-par 204.J Smith was flawless in the 3rd round with five birdies to post 67, while Siddikur’s 73 witnessed four unpleasant bogies against three birdies to put him down to joint 10th from 2nd spot. Siddikur’s first nine on the day started with an even-par before the bogey in the 2nd hole what he balanced with a birdie in the next hole. He played six successive even-par to finish the first session.The scenario became worse as Siddikur was crumbling trading three bogies in the 10th, 11th and 13th holes, but reduced the anxious with two birdies to put the 15th and 17th holes on the conclusion of the last nine.The 32 year old Siddikur made the cut in the prestigious European event, moving 31 steps up from 33rd. He carded two-under-par 70 on day one and six-under-par 66 in the 2nd round.After the round three, Siddikur is now sharing the 10th place with five others golfers. UNB news agency
