A total of 143 families of Tatoiya village under Kachua upazila of the district were brought under rural electrification network by Chandpur Palli Bidyut Samity (CPBS-1).
Former Home Minister Dr Mohiuddin Khan Alamgir, MP, inaugurated the electrification programme at a simple function held at the village.
CPBS brought the village under rural electrification network spending about Taka 40 lakh.
Upazila vice-chairman Advocate Helel Uddin and Deputy General Manager (DGM) of CPBS Jahangir Alam were present at the function, among others, reports BSS, Chandpur.
