Dhaka – Hockey Dhaka United outplayed Shisu Kishore Sangha by 9-0 goals in the Green Delta Insurance First Division Hockey League at the Maulana Bhashani National Stadium here on Wednesday.
Arafat Hossain Pial struck four, Vijender Singh scored three, Sajib Hossain Sifat and Syed Al Masum scored one goal each for the winners.
In the day’s other match, Mukta Bihanga Tarun Sangha beat Dhaka Railways by 3-1 goals at the same venue.
Aminul Islam Mithu struck two and Al Amin one for the winners while Nairid Hasan netted the lone goal for the losers.
Meanwhile, Bangladesh Hockey Federation (BHF) donated Tk 2 lakh for the treatment of former national hockey player and national sports award recipient Mohammad Mohsin, who is now receiving treatment at the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University in the capital.
