Keraniganj, June 5 – Police recovered the bodies of a woman from an under-construction building and that of an elderly man from the Buriganga River in Keraniganj on Wednesday.

Officer-in-charge of South Keraniganj Police Station Shah Zaman said they recovered the body of the woman, aged around 30, from the 3rd floor of the under-construction building in Chunkutia Aminpara around 2 pm.
The woman might have been killed after rape, he said.
The body of the 75-year-old man was retrieved from the Buriganga River at Postagola in the morning, the OC said.
Police sent the bodies to Sir Salimullah Medical College and Mitford Hospital for autopsy. – UNB
