Rajshahi, Dec 20 – A Two-Day long International Conference on ‘Literature, History, Culture’ organized by Arts Faculty of University of Rajshahi begins on Friday. University Vice-chancellor Professor M Abdus Sobhan inaugurated the event as the chief guest at Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmed Senate Building of the university at 09.00 am of the day.
Dean of the Faculty Professor Md. Fazlul Haque presided over the function where Pro-Vice-Chancellor Professor Ananda Kumar Saha, Pro-Vice-Chancellor Chowdhury Mohammad Zakaria, were special guests and Cultural Counselor of Iran High-commission to Bangladesh Dr. Saida Hasan Sihat was respected gust.
University Public Relation Administrator Professor Dr. Provash Kumar Kormokar, Foreign Participants, Faculty Teachers, Researcher, Professionals and Development Worker in the concerned field, Students were present there.
Professor M Abdus Sobhan in his speech called to awaken the humanitarian virtues as there is no alternative way of cultivating literature, history, and culture.
A total of 123 papers will be presented under the 21 Academic Sessions with 3 Plenary Speech in this Two-day conference.
