Some 248 dengue patients were admitted to different hospitals across the country in the last 24 hours till 8am on Tuesday.104 of them were hospitalised in Dhaka, the Directorate General of Health Services said in a regular update.
Since January, 95,630 people were hospitalised with dengue. Of them, 94,437 made full recovery.
Currently, 935 patients are undergoing treatment at hospitals – 407 of them in Dhaka.
The Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Research has received 248 reports of dengue-related deaths. It has reviewed 171 of them and confirmed 107 deaths, reports UNB.
