26 int’l veterinary confce at BAU, Mymensingh from 28 Feb

Mymensingh, Feb 26 – 70 papers and 79 posters will be presented at the 26th International scientific conference of Bangladesh Society for Veterinary Education and Research (BSVER). This information was released at a press conference held at Medicine Conference Room at Veterinary Science faculty of Bangladesh Agricultural University on Wednesday at 11 am. General Secretary of BSVER Prof Dr. Md. Abdul Alim addressed the press release while its President Prof Dr. Abusaleh Mahfuzul Bari, Member Secretary Prof Dr. Mohammad Rafiqul Islam and other members of organizing committee were present.
A press release issued in this connection said, besides oral and poster presentation, 2 keynotes and 4 plenary papers will be presented. Among them, 2 oral and 5 poster presenters will be given awards.
Besides, Prof Dr. Bing Wang from the Charles Stuart University of Australia will be rewarded with Annual Lecture Award and former teacher of department of Medicine of BAU Prof Dr. Abdur Rahman will be rewarded for Lifetime reputation. This year a total of 6 scientists from Japan, Malaysia, Australia and India will attend along with about 450 local scientists.
The inaugural session of 26th scientific conference of BSVER themed “Entrepreneurship Orientation in Veterinary Education” will be held on Friday (28 February). The conference is jointly organized by BSVER and Krishi Gobeshona Foundation (KGF). In the inaugural session, Vice-Chancellor of BAU Prof Dr. Lutful Hassan will present as chief guest.
A cultural night will be held by the participation of the teachers and students of the Faculty of Veterinary Science on the second day. The 3-day-long conference will be closed on 1st March. BAU Correspondent
