The second edition of Bangladesh Premier League T20 tournament kicked off Thursday through a grand opening ceremony at Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in the city.
President Zillur Rahman inaugurated the competition at 6:30pm. Various artists from home and abroad performed in the programme.
Dhaka Gladiators will face Khulna Royal Bengals in the first match of the tournament on Friday.
