Dhaka – The 32nd National Age-group Swimming and Diving Completion will begin at Syed Nazrul Islam National Swimming Complex in Mirpur on Sunday.Boys and Girls swimmers will take part in the competition split in five age groups – between 11-12, 13-14, 15-17, 18-20 years and under 10 years – in 100 events in the three-day meet, sponsored by Saif Power Tec.There will be three events — 1 and 3 meters spring board and 5 meter platform diving — for the divers in the meet. The diving events will be held at Bangladesh Navy Diving Pool as there is no spring board at the Mirpur Swimming Complex diving pool in Mirpur.The age groups will be decided through medical checkup on Saturday where 590 boys and 199 girls are expected to be available from 71 teams across the country, including BKSP, Ansar &VDP teams.The 69 other participating teams included one Divisional Sports Association and 23 District Sports Associations.UNB news agency
