DHAKA – The fifth edition of the Walton President Cup Golf Tournament 2021, organized by Army Golf Club concluded on Saturday at Army Golf Club in Dhaka Cantonment.
Bangladesh Army Chief General Aziz Ahmed distributed prizes among the winners at the concluding ceremony, said a ISPR press release here today.
Earlier, he prayed for the eternal peace of the departed souls of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and martyrs of the Liberation War.
Originally scheduled to begin on Wednesday, the tournament was postponed by a day due to inclement weather.
President of Army Golf Club Major General Md Moshfequr Rahman inaugurated the tournament as the chief guest in the morning.
The tournament took place in five categories – ladies, junior, veteran, regular and senior, where around 700 golfers, both local and foreign, participated.bss
