Dhaka, Aug 15 (UNB) – Six people were killed and 18 others injured in a road accident in Feni Sadar Upazila’s Lemua on Thursday morning.
The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.
Nurunnabi, superintendent of Feni police, said the accident took place around 5:45am.
“A Cox’s Bazar-bound picnic bus of ‘Prime Paribahan’ from Dhaka hit a roadside tree, leaving six people dead on the spot,” he said.
Eighteen others, injured in the accident, were taken to a local hospital, said Officer-in-Charge of Mohipal Highway Police Station Shahzahan Khan.
