Dhaka -Police in separate drives arrested 64 people from different places of the district on various charges, including violence, on Thursday afternoon.While briefing the media, Anisur Rahman, superintendent of police,Jessore, said police arrested 20 people from Kotwali, eight from Chougacha upazila, nine from Sharsha upazila, six from Jhikorgachha upazila, two from Benapole, three from Keshabpur upazila, eight from Manirampur upazila, six from Abhoynagar upazila and two from Bagharpara upazila of the district.
All of them are accused in several cases, including over violence.Police also recovered five hand bombs and huge illegal drugs during
