Dhaka – The 6th round matches of the Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League will be held on Monday (March 25) at three venues in the capital and adjoining areas.
Defending champions and joint league leader Dhaka Abahani Limited will play their traditional rival Dhaka Mohammedan SC at Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur while another joint leaguer leader Legend of Rupganj will face lowly Khelaghar SKS at BKSP ground-3 in Savar and Sheikh Jamal DC will encounter Gazi Group Cricketers at Khan Shaheb Osman Ali Stadium in Fatullah.
Four teams — holders Abahani Limited, Prime Bank Cricket Club, Prime Doleshwar SC and Legends of Rupganj — are jointly dominating the league securing eight points each from five matches, with four wins and one defeat.
After the 5th round matches, Dhaka Mohammedan was in the 5th slot collecting six points from five outings having three wins and two defeats, four teams-Brothers Union Club, Gazi Group Cricketers, BKSP and Sheikh Jamal DC — were sharing the 6th to 9th slot with four points each.
