Share prices at the country’s both bourses — Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE)
and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) –- bounced back on Monday after a fall
on Sunday.The DSE benchmark index, DGEN gained 63.79 points or 1.63 percent to reach
3958.81 points at the closing of the day’s trading.
Of the issues traded at the DSE on the day, 245 gained, 22 declined and 7
remained unchanged as shares worth Tk 187.42 crore changed hands.
The CSE key index, CSCX also gained 131.72 points to stand at 7392.58
points. Of the issues, 159 advanced, 15 suffered loss and 8 remained
unchanged.
Shares worth Tk 20.26 crore were traded at the CSE on the day.
On Sunday, The DSE benchmark index, DGEN shed 79.13 points while the CSE
key index, CSCX lost 149.27 points. (Source: UNB)
