Dhaka- Muggers snatched a cattle-laden truck injuring four cattle traders and a truck driver in Choriyarbil area of Shailakupa upazila early Monday.The injured cattle traders are – Maznu, Joynal, Lalon and Hannan,hailing from Chuadanga district,UNB News Agency Reported.Mostafizur Rahman, station officer of Shailkupa Fire Service, said a group of cattle traders were going to Comilla from Chuandanga.
When the truck was going past the area on Jhenidah-Kushtia highway around 3am, the driver stopped it for a mechanical disorder. When the vehicle was about the restart after the repair work, a gang of muggers attacked the cattle traders and beat them
indiscriminately, leaving them critically injured.The thugs snatched away the truck.The injured were admitted at Jhenidah Sadar Hospital.
