Dhaka – Members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) arrested two suspected members of militant outfit Neo JMB, including a PWD engineer, along with Tk 27.70 lakh from different parts of the city on Thursday night.The arrestees were identified as Nafis Ahmed Nayan, 28, and Hasibul Hasan,49.Briefing reporters at the Rab’s new media centre in the city’s Karwan Bazar, director General (DG) of the force Benazir Ahmed said Nafis is a Hundi trader while Hasibul Hasan is an engineer of Public Works Department (PWD) in Rajshahi.,UNB News Agency Reported.Tipped off, a team of the elite force arrested the duo conducting separate drives in Motijheel and Mohakhali areas in the capital and
recovered Tk 27.70 lakh in cash from their possessions, said the DG Rab.They were arrested on charge of financing militant group Neo JMB, he said.
