Dhaka – A mobile court on Tuesday sentenced a madrasah teacher to three months’ jail on charges aiding cheating in an examination centre in Morelganj upazila during Junior School Certificate (JSC) exams.The arrestee was identified as Md Habibur Rahman, 45, the teacher of B S Ahejia Dakhil Madrasah of the upazila. He was an invigilator at
Rowshanara Degree College,UNB News Agency Reported.College sources said a mobile court led by Mohammad Obaidur Rahman, executive magistrate and also upazila nirbahi officer of the upazila, detained Habibur as he supplied answers to exam questions to a female student of his madrasah in room no. 27 of the exam centre. He also created noise in the exam room while supplying the answers to the student orally.
Later the court sentenced him to three months in jail.The exam hall inspector also expelled the student.
