Dhaka -A college girl was killed in a road accident at Karnigram village on the Moulvibazar-Sylhet road under Rajnagar upazila in Sylhet this noon.The deceased was identified as Eti Rani Dev, 17, a student of Rajnagar Degree College and daughter of Manju Dev, a resident of Nandiura village of the upazila.Officer-in-Charge of Rajnagar Police Station Abdul Baset said the accident occurred when a pickup van hit a CNG-run auto rickshaw from opposite direction in the area, leaving rickshaw passenger Eti dead on the spot.Locals caught the pickup van driver and handed over to the police.A case was filed in this connection.BSS
