Patriotic song by Shusmita Anis on the Victory Day

Shusmita Anis has voiced a patriotic song for the coming Victory Day. The song titled ‘E Pran Amar Bangladesh’ is written by Muniruzzaman Munir and composed by Sheikh Saadi Khan. Famous Indian singer and music director Anupam Roy has arranged the music for this song. The music video has been directed by Gazi Shuvro. The music video of the song is available online under Gaanchill banner from today.

Sushmita noted that the song has been prepared to encourage youth towards patriotism. Shusmita Anis was raised in a very cultural family. Her foundation in singing was laid by her aunt the famous Nazrul singer Firoza Begum. From the age of 5 she trained with Firoza Begum in various sections of singing.

Shusmita Anis who is more inclined towards modern songs said, with the change of age, it is natural modern instrumentation will come closer to classic songs. But we have to ensure that the tune of the song remains the same. She thinks the dedication of the youth is key to maintaining this.

The music video was shot at a remote embankment of the river Padma. 50 models of varied age participated with Shusmita Anis in the music video. Regarding the video of the of the song she said, one has to see it through their own eyes to truly appreciate the beauty of Bangladesh
