Dhak – A pickup van driver was killed as his vehicle collided head-on with a bus in Analiabari area on the Tangail-Bangabandhu Bridge highway under Kalihati upazila of the district this morning.The deceased was Muksedul Alam, 32, resident of Uria area under Phulchhari Thana in Gaibandha district.Officer-in-Charge of Bangabandhu Bridge East Thana Asabur Rahman said the accident occurred when a wood-laden pickup van collided head on with the bus in the area at about 8 am, leaving pickup van driver Alam dead on the spot and four others injured.The injured were sent to Tangail Medical College Hospital.BSS
