Dhaka – A minor girl drowned in a pond at Amuchia village under Boalkhali upazila in Chittagong this morning.The deceased was identified as Sabhia, 1, daughter of Azgor Ali, hailed from Amuchia village under Boalkhali upazila of the district.Police and family sources said Sabiha, slipped into the pond while she was playing in the yard of her parent’s residence.Locals and family members rescued the victim in an unconscious condition and took her to Boalkhali upazila health complex, where the attending doctors declared her dead.BSS
