Dhaka – Police recovered 800 bottles of Indian Phensidyl syrup from Jahajghat Mijaner Mor area in Rajshahi early Monday.Humayun Kabir, officer-in-charge of Motihar Police Station, said tipped off, a team of police conducted a drive in the area and intercepted a private car at about 3.00am,UNB news agency reported.However, the driver and passengers of the car managed to flee the scene.Later, police recovered 800 bottles of Indian Phensidyl syrup after searching the vehicle.A case was filed in this connection.
