Dhaka – A man was killed as a passenger bus collided head on with a pickup van in Shalla area on Bangabandhu Setu-Tangail Highway in Kalihati Upazila of the district today,UNB news agency reported.The deceased was identified as Rafiqul Islam, 30, hailed from Pabna.Officer-in-Charge of Bangabandhu Setu Thana (east) Asabur Rahman said the fatal accident took place on the Highway. Passenger of the pickup van Rafiqul died on the spot.
